Tunupa: A Journey of Flavors, History, and Tradition

At the dawn of the new millennium, the Andean wind whispered a calling from the Incas. A dream was born in the heart of Cusco—driven by a passion to share our Cusqueñan culture through the richness of Peruvian cuisine. With humility and devotion, we opened the doors of our first restaurant, crafting each dish with the soul of our land, ancestral knowledge, and the sacred gifts of Pachamama.

But the Sacred Valley embraced us with the mystical energy of the Incas—it spoke to our very spirit. And so, guided by the destiny traced by the Apus, nine months later we found our second home in an old colonial house, a place where tradition and warmth intertwine in every experience.

Sonccollay, my heart—at Tunupa, every day is a living offering. We learn, we grow, and we are grateful for the chance to share the authenticity of our Inca heritage. Here, we don’t just offer gastronomic experiences—we tell stories that transcend time, celebrate traditions with every bite, and welcome each guest with heartfelt hospitality.
